According to local media reports in Zambia, the Chief of the Central Police of Zambia, Katanga, confirmed to the media on the 26th local time that a serious car accident occurred on that day in Kabwe City, Zambia’s Central Province.
A bus from Lusaka, the capital of Zambia, deviated from the road and overturned after speeding, killing five people.
13 people were seriously injured and 42 people were slightly injured.
The injured were soon taken to the local hospital for treatment by the rescue team.
Katanga added that the driver has been discharged from the hospital after treatment, and the cause of the accident will be further investigated.
