IDF confirmed on 28 May local time that a Palestinian man had been shot dead by Israeli soldiers in clashes with Israeli forces that afternoon.
According to Palestinian media reports, the man, named as Hamayel, 23, is an activist with the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas). It is reported that the village of Hamayel villagers recently because of opposition to the Israeli army set up posts in the vicinity and Israeli soldiers clashed.
