According to Philippine media reports : on the afternoon of November 26, a military helicopter of Philippine Air Force crashed in the town of Madalun, South Lanao Province, Philippines, killing one soldier on board and injuring four other soldiers, including the pilot.

According to a report issued by the West Mindanao Command Department, at about 9 a.m. on the 26th, four soldiers of the 55th Infantry Battalion of Philippine Air Force were on a mission in Madalun to dismantle an improvised explosive device, but the device suddenly exploded during the demolition process, injuring four soldiers.
