According to the Russian satellite news agency on January 3, a man was arrested on suspicion of breaking into the residence of the Emperor of Japan.

The suspect was arrested by the Japanese Palace Guard after staying at Emperor Tokuhito’s residence for two hours, Japan’s Fuji News Network (FNN) reported on Sunday, citing police.

A 29-year-old man was reportedly arrested after breaking into the usually high-security Japanese emperor’s residence on Saturday night local time.

The unnamed suspect entered the Akasaka residential area for the royal family through a nearby hotel, where he was found by the Japanese Palace Guard after staying there for two hours.
