According to U.S. prosecutors in Washington, D.C., a New York man has been arrested and charged with multiple charges on suspicion of participating in the protest against the conflict at the U.S. Capitol.

It is reported that the man threatened to kill House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Vice President Mike Pence on the day of the conflict.

Dominic “Spaz” Pezzola, 43, was arrested and charged on suspicion of breaking into, damaging government property and obstructing police law enforcement on the day of protesting the conflict in the Capitol, the prosecutor’s office said in a press release.

According to the video on the day of the conflict, Pezola entered the window with a shield of the U.S. Capitol police, and leisurely smoked cigars in the building after entering the Capitol.

Petzola allegedly continued to spread threatening remarks after the fact that he could kill anyone at that time, including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Vice President Mike Pence.

The Washington, D.C. Attorney’s Office is currently indicting the case together with the anti-terrorism department of the National Security Department of the United States Department of Justice.

The FBI’s local agencies – the Buffalo Office, the Albany Office and the Washington Office are also investigating the case.
