A grenade attack in southern Pakistan killed 10 people and wounded 10 others

ISLAMABAD, Aug. 15 2021 Pakistani police said on the 15th, Pakistan’s southern port city of Karachi on the evening of the 14th grenade attack, killing at least 10 people were killed and 10 injured.

Raja Khattab, head of the karachi police’s counter-terrorism unit, told Xinhua that the attack occurred when a truck carrying more than 20 people from the same family was driving on the road, they attended the wedding on their way home, a motorcycle on the way home, a motorcycle attackers suddenly threw grenades at the truck.

Khattab said the dead included six women and four children, while several others were in serious condition.

No one has claimed responsibility for the attack, which has an unknown motive.

Immediately after the attack, Pakistani security forces and rescue workers rushed to the scene to carry out rescue, the injured were sent to hospital for treatment. Security forces have cordoned off the scene and launched an investigation into the incident.
