22 December 2021 14:50 local time on the 21st, Indian Petroleum exploded and caused a fire at an oil refinery in Hardia, West Bengal, killing 3 people and injuring 44 others, 7 of whom were critically injured. 37 injured have been sent to hospitals in Calcutta, and the local government said it would provide all assistance to ensure the recovery of the injured.
At present, the fire has been put out, the relevant authorities are investigating the cause of the fire, and the Khadia refinery of Indian Petroleum has been temporarily shut down.
