According to the latest news from the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, a fire broke out in a three-story single-family building in Ho Chi Minh City on the afternoon of May 7, local time. As of press time, the fire has killed eight people.

It is reported that the building where the fire broke out is a workshop for the production of candles. Witnesses at the scene said the fire spread very quickly.

According to the preliminary determination of Ho Chi Minh City police, the building had only one exit, resulting in a fire in which no one in the building was able to escape. At present, the cause of the fire is under further investigation.
