April 9 According to Yonhap News Agency, South Korea’s Incheon Marine Police Department said on the 9th that the navy reported that at about 5:38 a.m. on the same day, A, a crew member of his 40s on a Chinese fishing boat, was missing at about 12 kilometers east of Yeonpyeong Island, Wengjin County, Incheon City.
It is reported that the South Korean navy found that at 2:00 a.m. that day, the crew of the fishing boat began to search for A’s whereabouts inside the ship and immediately informed the coast guard of the situation.
The coast guard inferred that A accidentally fell into the sea during the casting operation, and dispatched a helicopter and two patrol boats to search for the nearby waters.
