Recently, a large-scale aggregation infection occurred in an ice cream factory in Osnabrück, Lower Saxony, Germany.

As of the 16th, the number of ice cream factory employees diagnosed with COVID-19 has reached 210, accounting for nearly a quarter of the total staff of the factory.

The local government said on the 16th that the employees who have entered the factory since January 25 are currently in quarantine, with a total of 670 employees, 398 employees who have tested negative, and the rest of the test results are still waiting.

Two of the confirmed cases are infected with the novel coronavirus variant.

At present, the factory has shut down and opened a COVID-19 testing center.

The municipal government of Osnabrück said that the specific cause of cluster infection is not clear, and traceability and tracing are under way.
