According to New Zealand media reports, on the morning of the 18th local time, a cargo ship docked in the port of Napier on the North Island of New Zealand caught fire and smoked thickly.
The fire was controlled by firefighters after burning for more than three hours. First responders also rushed to the scene, but no injuries have been reported so far.
A port spokesman said that all crew members have been safely transferred and will be quarantined at an isolation point at the port site.
