A car triggered a landmine explosion in Rakhine State Myanmar causing three deaths and six injuries. The youngest deceased was only 1 year old

At about 1 pm on November 17, local time, a car near the town of Mengdu, Rakhine State, Myanmar, exploded when it triggered a landmine.

The accident resulted in 3 death and 6 injuries. The dead were a young couple and their only one-year-old son. 

The 6 injured have been taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

At the time of the incident, the car was driving from a nearby village to Mengdu Town.
