Large-scale protests against Trump's Middle East peace plan took place in Morocco

A 25-year-old woman in the West African country of Mali gave birth to nine babies in a Moroccan hospital on April 4, two more than the number detected by prenatal ultrasound.

The mother, Halima Cisse, gave birth to nine babies – five girls and four boys – by caesarean section, AFP reported, citing a statement from Mali’s health ministry.

Mali’s health minister, Vanta Sibi, said “mothers and children are in good condition” and would return home in a few weeks.

Cisse, from northern Mali, has attracted widespread attention after being diagnosed with multiple births. On 30 March, the Government of Mali flew Cisse to a Moroccan hospital for delivery so that she could receive better care.

Prenatal ultrasound tests in Mali and Morocco showed seven fetuses in the womb.

Safe delivery of quintuplets is not very common, and safe delivery of quintuplets is even rarer.

The Moroccan side has not confirmed this information.
