In 2018, Yutong Group delivered 14 pure electric buses to Iceland, becoming Iceland’s first imported pure electric bus brand. In 2019, another 20 and 33 Yutong pure electric buses were delivered to Denmark and Finland. The 33 Yutong pure electric buses introduced in Finland for the first time have become the only electric buses in operation in Finland. In April 2017, BYD’s first electric bus factory in Europe was put into production in Komárom, on the border between Hungary and Slovakia. This is the first electric vehicle factory invested and built by a Chinese company in Europe, bringing more than 300 jobs to Komarom.
In the spacious and bright bus factory workshop, Gabor, an automotive engineer who has been engaged in the automotive industry for more than 40 years, is busy shuttled through the production line.

In mid-July, 102 Yutong pure electric buses began to be delivered to Norway in batches. By the end of this year, these buses will be able to shuttle through the streets of Bergen, Norway.
