A man in St. Petersburg detained 6 children in an apartment has been detained by the police
On the afternoon of November 24th local time, a man detained 6 children in his apartment in St. Petersburg, Russia.
According to the information released by the police, the man locked himself and six children between the ages of 3 and 15 at home and threatened to kill the child with an axe.
After more than five hours of negotiations, St. Petersburg police finally forced the suspect to abandon resistance and release all the children.
St. Petersburg police said that all the children have been sent to the hospital for examination, and they have arranged for psychologists to provide psychological counseling for the children.
The suspect is currently detained by the police.
