The South Korean government announced that from midnight today, the level of response to the pandemic in the metropolitan area will be raised to level 2, and stricter control measures will be taken.
According to Yonhap News Agency, on the 23rd, 217 new cases were confirmed in a single day in the metropolitan area, more than 200 cases in 5 consecutive days. There were 320 infections in the community, an increase of 65 from the previous day. The report pointed out that the number of collective infections in schools, cram schools, and various gatherings across the country is still increasing.

The contents include nightclubs, some bars and other entertainment facilities are completely prohibited from operating. Dining in the cafe is completely prohibited. After 9pm, restaurants are not allowed to eat in, and shopping malls and performance venues are prohibited from operating.
