November 20 Russian Satellite News Agency quoted the Armenian Morning News on the 20th, saying that many sources pointed out that the Armenian Defense Minister David Tonoyan had submitted his letter of resignation.
According to reports, Tonoyan’s successor will be Vagharshak Harutiunyan, an important adviser to Prime Minister Pashinyan, who served as the Minister of Defense of Armenia from 1999 to 2000.
On the same day, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry stated that according to the ceasefire statement signed by Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia, the Azerbaijani army has entered Agdam in the Naka region.
The content of the ceasefire statement stated that the armies of the two sides will maintain their current positions and exchange prisoners. The Albanian side obtained control of part of the land in the Naka region, while Russian peacekeepers were deployed on the contact line and the Lachin corridor connecting the Naka region and Armenia.
