November 19 Ethiopian Federal Government held a press conference on the situation in Tigray State. The Chief Executive of the Tigray State Transitional Government Mulu Nig said at the press conference that the task of the Transitional Government is to ensure that the state is legally held.
Democratic elections will later be taken over by the elected local governments, and the transitional government’s ruling period will be very short.Â
At the same time, the Transitional Government will try its best to repair the peaceful and stable relations between Tigray State and Eritrea and the surrounding areas.
Tigray State is located in the north of Ethiopia and is in power by the “Tigray People’s Liberation Front”. The Ethiopian government decided to implement a state of emergency in Tigray State and set up a transitional government due to the recent attack on the government base by the “Tiren Front” armed forces.
