The Turkish Presidential Palace submits a peacekeeping proposal to send troops to Azerbaijan
Turkey’s Anadolu News Agency on the 16th, the Turkish Presidential Palace has submitted to the Turkish Grand National Assembly a proposal to send peacekeeping troops to Azerbaijan.
The bill signed by Turkish President Erdogan stated that troops will be sent to carry out peacekeeping missions in the Naka region for a period of one year.
The troops will be sent for the “interests and well-being of the local people” and also for Turkey’s national interests. On the 17th, the Turkish Parliament will vote on this bill.
On November 11, local time, Turkish President Erdogan stated at the AKP Grand National Assembly group meeting that Turkey and Russia had signed a memorandum of understanding that morning that Turkey and Russia would establish a “on the liberated territory of Azerbaijan.”
The joint center supervises the progress of the Naka ceasefire to prevent the recurrence of conflicts. Erdogan said that Turkey will participate in Russia’s peacekeeping operations in the Naka region
