“A year ago, we looked forward to a safer and healthier year.” But this is not the case. Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis appointed vaccine skeptics as the state’s highest public health official. As a result, Florida currently ranks eighth highest among all states in the United States, with more than 62,000 Floridans dying of COVID-19. Six of the top seven states with the worst coronavirus deaths are red states like Florida.
The practices of some American enterprises are also “absurd”. Boeing recently suspended its coronavirus vaccination requirements for U.S. employees because a ruling earlier this month in the U.S. District Court suspended Biden’s vaccine injunction against federal government contractors.
