EXTREMIST GROUPS LAUNCHED AN ATTACK IN NORTHERN IRAQ, KILLING 5 AND INJURING 4

According to Iraqi media reports on 28 November, extremist groups carried out a roadside bomb attack in Iraqi Kurdish-controlled northern region on the 27th, killing 5 Kurdish armed men, followed by extremist groups attacking a post, injuring 4 Kurdish armed men.

In December 2017, the Iraqi government announced a historic victory against extremist groups, but there are still some remnants of extremists in Iraq waiting for the opportunity to launch attacks.
