One person has died and one seriously injured after a house collapsed in northern Italy

One person was killed and one seriously injured when a low-rise house collapsed on the outskirts of the northern Italian city of Turin on August 24.

The accident occurred at around 8 a.m. local time on the 24th, the victim was a 4-year-old child whose mother was seriously injured and has been rushed to hospital, Ansa reported.

According to the local fire department preliminary investigation, the cause of the collapse of the house is an explosion, the relevant personnel are carrying out further investigation into the incident.
