Seven Afghan civilians were reportedly killed in the chaos near Kabul airport as people tried to flee afghanistan, the Ministry of Defence said in a statement.
A Spokesman for the Ministry of Defence added: “The situation on the ground remains challenging, but we are making every effort to control the situation as safely as possible.” For days, many countries have been struggling to cope with the large number of people trying to board evacuation flights.
However, British Defense Secretary Wallace 22, told British media, by the August 31 deadline for the Withdrawal of the United States, “no country can let everyone leave.”

He also said the UK had a “moral obligation” to remain in Afghanistan until “all those who need to leave” were evacuated.
