Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi attended a meeting of parliament to consider cabinet ministers’ nominations and delivered a speech, the official Iranian news agency ITA reported.
Ebrahim Raisi said the current top priority of the Iranian government is to control the outbreak of coronavirus, improve the country’s health, speed up vaccination of coronavirus, implement epidemic prevention norms, and improve the level of treatment of patients with coronavirus.
Ebrahim Raisi stressed that the government’s second priority is in the economic field, to stabilize The Economic Situation in Iran, to improve macro-indicators, to safeguard and improve the livelihood of the society, to solve the problems of people’s livelihood, and to optimize the business environment.
Ebrahim Raisi introduced the ministerial nominees one by one at the meeting, saying that the new cabinet is composed of experienced young ministers. The development and implementation of the plans of the new Iranian Government will work towards justice and progress and equitable distribution of resources and opportunities.
Iran’s parliament is reportedly considering and evaluating cabinet picks, which will be followed by a vote of confidence. Iran’s new president, Leahy, was sworn in on August 5th, local time, and a list of cabinet ministers was submitted to parliament on August 11th.
