Israel’s security cabinet meeting did not discuss a ceasefire with Hamas

The Times of Israel, citing local Hebrew media reports, said there had been “no discussion of a ceasefire with Hamas” at a meeting of Israel’s security cabinet on May 16th, local time. Israeli officials have yet to make a public statement on the matter since the meeting.
