Two people, including the gunman, were killed in a shooting in Arkansas

May 15, two people, including the gunman, were killed in a shooting at an apartment building in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

The Fort Smith Police Department said the shooting occurred at 7:19 a.m. that day when officers arrived at the scene and found two bodies. Preliminary findings indicate that the gunman was shot dead by another resident after killing one person in the apartment building.

There are currently no further security threats in the area and police are investigating the details of the case.
