British Prime Minister Johnson met with U.S. Secretary of State Blinken

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson met with U.S. Secretary of State John Blinken at the British Prime Minister’s Office on May 4, local time.

The two sides agreed that U.S.-British cooperation plays an important role in combating the outbreak of Coronavirus pandemic and protecting the environment, and welcomed the extensive work of the two countries in trade and defense.

Both sides believe that global vaccination will be the key to defeating the Coronavirus outbreak. The two sides stressed the importance of the G7’s work in this area, including efforts to increase international vaccine production capacity.
