One person was killed and two injured when a truck collided with a train in Egypt’s Suez province

Egyptian media reported on the 27th local time, the same day, a heavy truck loaded with bricks from the desert road into the village of Amir in Suez province, after illegally crossing the railway strip, the same Suez to Ismailia train collided. The accident resulted in the death of one driver and the injury of two others.

The injured have been taken to Suez General Hospital for treatment and prosecutors have stepped in to investigate the accident. An inquest report at the scene showed that the truck driver had misjudged the distance between the truck and the train. The wreckage at the scene has been cleared and railway traffic is now back to normal.
