A cruise ship has caught fire in Syria, which Iranian television says belongs to Iran

Syria’s oil ministry said Thursday that an oil tanker has been extinguished after a suspected drone strike near the northwestern Syrian port city of Banias.

Three Iranian oil tankers have arrived in nearby waters in recent days, including one that was hit by a drone strike off the coast of northwest Syria, Reuters reported, citing Iran’s official Arabic-language television.

The attack killed at least three people, including two oil tanker crew members, AFP reported, citing a Human Rights Watch source.
