On the evening of April 23rd, local time, the Argentine government confirmed that Transport Minister Maioni had died in a car accident. According to local media reports, Mayoni’s personal vehicle was involved in an accident on the way back to his home in Buenos Aires province when it overturned. By the time the rescue arrived, Mayoni had lost vital signs.
