On the evening of 15 April, local time, a rocket fired from the Palestinian Gaza Strip into Israeli territory, and sirens sounded in the towns of Sderot and Ibim in southern Israel.
An IDF spokesman confirmed that the rocket landed in an open area around the town and there were no immediate reports of casualties or property damage.
