According to the online website of Egypt’s Pyramid on April 11, the Egyptian prosecutor’s office released the results of the investigation of the collision between two trains in Sohaj Governorate on March 26. The results showed that many people involved in the case smoked drugs on the day of the train collision.
Drug abuse analysis released by the Ministry of Health shows that every person in charge of the observation tower at Marag Station consumed drugs such as cannabis and tramadol that day. The co-pilot of a luxury train in the accident also smoked drugs such as cannabis essence.
On 26 March, a two-train collision occurred in the Takhta area of Sohaj province, Egypt, killing 32 people and injuring 165.
