Saudi air defense forces intercepted a ballistic missile from Yemen.

The Saudi multinational coalition command issued a notice on the evening of the 9th local time that the air defense forces successfully intercepted a ballistic missile over the southern Saudi city of Gizan earlier that day.

Multinational coalition spokesman Turki Maliki accused the Yemeni Houthis of firing the missile into Saudi territory, saying that the Houthi’s target was to launch attacks on civilians and civilian targets in Saudi Arabia, but he did not disclose whether the incident caused casualties.

According to the statistics of the multinational coalition, the Saudi side has intercepted more than 360 ballistic missiles from Yemen.
