According to the British Maritime Trade Action Organization, the incident is under investigation, and there are no casualties and no damage to the cabin of the 28 crew members.
It is reported that the cargo ship is owned by an Israeli company.
The cargo ship is planted with the flag of the Bahamas and sailed from the port of Dammam in Saudi Arabia to Singapore.
At the time of the incident, the ship was sailing near the Strait of Hormuz.
