According to the Russian News Agency, on February 19th, local time, due to wind, snowy weather and low visibility, the section of the Russian Crimea Bridge was temporarily closed from 6 a.m. local time, which was also the first time since the bridge was completed, but the railway section is still running normally.
According to the introduction, due to the large amount of snow in the area on that day, most of the bridges were covered with ice and snow.
The local road administration department urgently dispatched professional teams to clean up the ice and snow of the bridge to ensure the normal operation of the railway section and restore the traffic of the highway section as soon as possible.
The Crimean Bridge road section was officially opened in 2018 and the railway section was opened in 2019. The bridge is the only bridge connecting the mainland in the Crimean Peninsula.
