February 8th – A batch of coronavirus vaccines provided by the People’s Liberation Army to the Pakistani army was delivered to Pakistan on February 7.
The Public Relations Office of the Pakistan Armed Forces (ISPR) issued a statement expressing gratitude to China.
According to Pakistan’s Geo News Network on the 8th, the Public Relations Office of the Pakistan Armed Forces said that the Pakistani army expressed its deepest gratitude to the People’s Liberation Army and the People’s Republic of China for their generous assistance with the coronavirus vaccine.
The Pakistani military said that these coronavirus vaccines will be distributed to front-line medical staff across Pakistan. It is reported that the Pakistani army is also the first foreign army to receive coronavirus vaccine assistance from the Chinese army.
At the press conference of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on February 8, Wang Wenbin, spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said that China has provided vaccine assistance to 53 developing countries, including Pakistan, and has exported vaccines to 22 countries.
China has also actively participated in the WHO’s Coronavirus Vaccine Implementation Plan and decided to provide 10 million doses of vaccines to the implementation plan, mainly in developing countries.
China will continue to cooperate with relevant countries in different ways, provide support and help within its capabilities according to needs, and make tangible contributions to the early victory of the epidemic and the promotion of the construction of a human health community.
