February 6th, local time, Greek media reported that there was a protest in the Ipi area of Lesbos Island, Greece’s largest “refugee island”, on the 5th.

Because the parents of local students in a school in the region questioned the real age of refugee students, they refused to accept nine refugee students.

According to the report, the nine refugee students from Syria and Afghanistan, including five boys and four girls, currently live in refugee apartments.

∂The identity documents they provided showed that the year of birth was from 2005 to 2008, that is, between 13 and 16 years old, but local parents believed that individual refugee students had reached the age of 25, so they refused to accept their school and refused to send their children to school.

The principal of the school involved said that the admission of refugee students fully met the relevant requirements.
