AstraZeneca submits application for approval of coronavirus vaccine in Japan

Kyodo News Agency reported on February 5 that British pharmaceutical giant AstraZeneca said on the 5th that it had submitted an application for coronavirus vaccine approval to the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare of Japan.

According to the report, AstraZeneca is the second company to apply for domestic vaccine approval in Japan after Pfizer in the United States.
