On the morning of February 4, South Korean President Moon Jae-in said on his social media that he had talked to US President Biden by phone.
The two sides discussed further upgrading the South Korean-American alliance and said that they would work together for peace on the Korean Peninsula.
This is the first time that South Korean and American leaders have called since Biden took office as President of the United States.
