Venezuelan President: Russia’s “Sputnik-V” vaccine is “100% effective”

According to Tass on February 2, Venezuelan President Maduro said on Monday that the clinical trial results of the Russian “Sputnik-V” coronavirus vaccine showed 100% effectiveness.

“We tested in Venezuela and it [the vaccine] showed 100% effectiveness,” Maduro said in an interview posted on his Twitter account.

Maduro added that Venezuela has not reported serious complications after vaccination against Russia.

Venezuelan Vice President Rodríguez said last December that he had reached a “Sputnik-V” vaccine supply agreement with Russia.
