USA Today mentioned that Biden also signed executive orders related to combating climate change on the same day, including raising climate change to a national security issue.
The executive order is also a follow-up to several climate-related executive orders signed by Biden a few days ago, the report said.
McCarthy, Biden’s national climate adviser, said that the climate change measures announced by Biden that day were also the first step to recover the economy from the coronavirus crisis.
