According to the initial vote count of the Portuguese presidential election on January 24 local time, the current Portuguese President Marcelo Ribeiro de Sosa received 64.09% of the votes, which means that de Sousa will successfully be re-elected and enter his second term as President of Portugal.
Previous polls showed that De Sousa will get 55% to 62% of the votes in the initial vote count, so that there will be no need to vote for a second time and directly re-election.
The current President of Portugal, De Sousa, was successfully elected President of Portugal after the initial vote on January 24, 2016.
After winning this election, he will enter his second presidential term.
