At about 11:00 local time on January 19, Serbian Health Minister Ronchar was vaccinated against Chinese medicine in Serbia’s national laboratory.
He was the first person to be vaccinated against China in Serbia.
At 8 o’clock on the same day, the Serbian government held a vaccination team meeting.
Serbian President Vučić announced that from 11:00 on the 19th, Serbia’s mass vaccination will be carried out at two vaccination sites, the Belgrade Convention and Exhibition Center and the Torlak National Laboratory.
On the evening of January 18, the Serbian Drug and Medical Device Administration (ALIMS) announced that the agency’s evaluation confirmed the quality, efficacy and safety of China’s vaccine in accordance with all standards of the European Union and the World Health Organization.
The Chinese vaccine has passed all necessary tests and been approved for use in Serbia.
