According to the announcement of the Serbian Ministry of Health on the evening of January 18, Health Minister Longchar will be vaccinated against China at the Serbian Institute of Public Health at 11 a.m. on January 19, when he will become the first Chinese vaccinated in Serbia.
Earlier that evening, the Serbian Drug and Medical Device Administration (ALIMS) announced that the agency’s evaluation confirmed the quality, efficacy and safety of Chinese vaccines in accordance with all the standards of the European Union and the World Health Organization, and that the Chinese vaccine has passed all necessary tests and been approved for use in Serbia.
On the morning of January 16, 1 million doses of inactivated vaccines from the National Pharmaceutical Group arrived in Serbia, and it took less than two days from the time they were approved for use.
