Japan and Britain plan to hold foreign ministers’ defense minister consultation in February

Kyodo News Agency reported on January 18 that relevant Japanese government sources revealed on the 18th that the Japanese and British governments plan to hold foreign ministers’ defense ministers’ consultations (2+2) consultations by video and telephone in February, and coordination has been carried out on this regard.

The Japanese and British governments originally tried to hold consultations in April 2019, but were postponed due to the chaos caused by Brexit and the spread of the coronavirus.
