Earlier, on January 9, the Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA) announced that it was authorized to use the Chinese biocoronavirus vaccine of the national drug group.
Subsequently, Jordan’s Ministry of Health announced that it would launch a national vaccination plan for the novel coronavirus vaccine on the 13th of this month.
On January 10, Jordanian Health Minister Nazir Obedat publicly said that Jordanian Prime Minister Bashir Al-Khasunay and several ministers have been vaccinated against Chinese biology against the novel coronavirus.
Jordan’s health minister Nazir Obedat said, “Jordan participates in clinical trials of Chinese vaccines.
The Prime Minister and several other ministers, including myself, have been vaccinated.”
“The vaccines purchased by Jordan’s intensified vaccination are safe and effective,” he added, urging Jordanians to be aggressively vaccinated.
According to CCTV news, on January 13 local time, Jordan’s Ministry of Health reported 1,122 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the country, and 1,427 new cured cases and 15 deaths.
The total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Jordan reached 31,968, of which 2,935 were cured. 31 cases, with a cumulative death of 4,091.
