On Tuesday local time, Meng Wanzhou applied for relaxing his bail conditions in the British Columbia High Court in Vancouver, Canada, but the prosecution objected to the change.
The judge will hear arguments in favor of and against the application from 12 to 13.
According to Meng Wanzhou’s lawyer group earlier, they hope to apply to include relaxing the requirements of daytime supervision outside the curfew.
The Ministry of Justice of Canada said that the bail conditions set for Meng Wanzhou in December 2018 were necessary and appropriate, and there was no reason to change it at present.
The note by the Ministry of Justice also mentioned that Meng Wanzhou’s extradition hearing will resume on March 1.
At present, it is set to have hearings on abuse of procedure and extradition from March 1 to 5, from March 15 to April 1, and from April 26 to May 14.
