Israel has carried out many air strikes on eastern Syria.

Syrian media reported on the 13th local time that Israel carried out several air strikes on the city of Deir ez-Zor in Deir ez-Zor province in eastern Syria and the Abu Kamal port in the Syrian-Iraqi border area in the early morning of the same day.

It was intercepted by Syrian air defense systems. However, the report does not mention whether there were any casualties in the air strike.

Israel has long been targeting air strikes in Syria on the grounds of attacking Iranian military facilities, but both the Syrian and Iranian governments deny that Iran has troops in Syria.
