Recently, a couple in Cairo was arrested by the local police station for stealing cultural relics on their wedding night.
According to a report by Arab Satellite TV on the 9th, during the renovation of the wedding room, the newlyweds found many precious cultural relics under their kitchen.
Because of their “limited ability”, they used the pretext of holding a wedding dinner to smuggle the cultural relics to the black market for resale through this cover-up.
However, the couple’s illegal behavior was smashed by a neighbor and reported to the local police station.
According to the investigation of the local cultural relics protection bureau, the apartment where the couple lived was underground an ancient pharaoh’s tomb, and the excavated cultural relics were all pharaoh’s funeral objects.
