Bloomberg reported on January 7 that Matt Pottinger, the deputy national security adviser of the United States, resigned on Wednesday local time.
Pottinger was one of the White House officials who were disappointed by the impact on the Capitol and Trump’s incitement to protesters, according to two people familiar with the matter.
According to CNN earlier today, several senior aides to President Trump, including Trump’s national security adviser Robert O’Brien, are considering resigning after the violence at the U.S. Capitol. Ge and Deputy Chief of Staff Chris Liddell.
